Services and times

Our Sunday morning service 11.00am to 12.00am

Sunday morning is our main weekly gathering of the church family. We start with an informal time of worship for the whole family and after the first twenty minutes the children go to their junior church groups. The remaining adults spend time in prayer and worship, then hearing God’s word and responding to the teaching we have had.

Refreshments are  served after the service

Communion.

We take communion on the first Sunday of each month and invite you to join us  for this meaningful memorial to our Lord’s sacrificial death and triumphant resurrection.

Jesus instituted Holy Communion on the night before the crucifixion, and instructed his followers to continue with the practice "in remembrance" of him, As the Bible says, "And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them saying, 'This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.' In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you" (Luke 22:19-20).

Communion is also a time to look forward to Christ's return.

Our Sunday evening service 6.30pm - 7.30pm

Sunday evening is similar to the morning service, a time of worshipping and enjoying God by singing, praying, reading the Bible, and hearing it explained.

Wednesday evening services  8.00pm to 9.30pm

Prayer evening and Bible study

We pray for each person by name, and give special support to each of us. Prayer requests are often made and any specific prayer requests are always welcome. We are delighted to pray for any particular problems that may arise or to celebrate with you any significant achievements.

Our vision is to follow the Acts 1:14 model of the Disciples by “….join(ing) together constantly in prayer” for the purpose of drawing close to our God, seeking Him and His will and interceding for others. We believe that God chooses to move in response to our prayers. And we know, because His Word tells us in 1 Jonn 5:14-15, that He hears us when we pray.

We also arrange many special events throughout the year
