New Church hall

new church hallWickford Evangelical Church has a brand new hall !. What is it used for?.

Well , as well as providing much needed space for our youth activities.....We also want to provide a program of events for the community.

We are looking forward to seeing you all there at our exciting new events listed below, with many more coming soon.

 

CommuniTEA

cup of tea

 

A tea time club for members of the community, who would like to come together, to eat food, chat,play games and spend time together.

Fortnightly every Tuesday, from 5.45 to 7.30pm , Starting 5th September

Soup and sandwiches, tea/coffee/cold drinks, cake, come to enjoy Board games or simply sit and chat.

NOT a church service, just a social group-and everything provided free.

 

First Aid Courses

 

Young mums at home, wanting to know what to do in an emergency? , Or maybe you would just like to know basic first aid skills?.

We have a fully qualified first aid trainer who teaches Paediatric or Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) courses.  Both are 1 day, and we would like to offer them free of charge as a service to the community.  The only cost to you will be for the certification - if required.

First course Monday 11th September, then on demand, courses can also be run on Saturdays.

 

 

Community Kitchen

KitchenDo you want help with learning how to cook a family meal, on a tight budget? Or maybe you are just wanting some fresh ideas?

This monthly, friendly get together aims to assist you with the budgeting, planning and preparation of meals.

It will also be a great place to swap ideas and try new recipes, then once finished, sit down and chat over a well-earned cup of tea!.

Starting Thursday October 12th then every 2nd Thursday of the month, 2 sessions: 9.45am and 7pm each time.

The opening Ceremony

Come and join us for our new hall, opening ceremony on Saturday 29th July 2017 at 6pm. we will show you Pictures of the build, and have a short dedication service, with refreshments to follow. Everyone is warmly invited.



Unfortunately, the hall is not available for general hire. All events are church sponsored and for the benefit of the community
